Public Notice-Does and Don’ts.

Wings Over Camarillo Information

Below is some public information and notice for the Wings Over Camarillo show. If you still have questions, or need further information, contact us today!

Ear Protection at the Wings Over Camarillo Air Show

With the combination of jet aircraft and pyrotechnics, we strongly recommend ear protection for our guests, and especially for younger children; either foam earplugs, or for children, headset over-the-ear (earmuffs) noise protection just like the sailors of the US Navy use on an aircraft carrier.

Sorry folks…. NO PETS…

Due to our Permit, the airplane noises, detonation of ground fuel on the ground, hot tarmacs and small metal parts on the tarmac, no pets are allowed past our gates. California law allows physically challenged person per American with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations to bring registered and trained service dogs and psychiatric service dogs, but not emotional support animals, to all public places. Please for the safety of your pets and others, do not bring your pets or emotional support animals to this event. Per California law, we will ask you to remove your service animal from the premises if:

(1) the animal is out of control and the animal’s owner does not take effective action to control it (for example, a dog that barks repeatedly during a movie) or

(2) the animal poses a direct threat to the health or safety of others.

No Smoking

Due to the airplane fuel on the ground and in the air NO SMOKING of any kind (including vaping) is allowed inside the event.

No skateboard, bicycles, scooters, outside alcohol, umbrellas, glass, weapons of any kind, flammable objects or non-Wings Over Camarillo registered golf carts are allowed through the Air Show gates. Handicap wheelchairs are okay. Due to the afternoon winds and winds caused by some aircraft, we cannot have personal umbrellas or tents in the General Viewing area.

Strollers, wagons, small ice chests with non-alcohol drinks in plastic or cans and chairs are allowed. Hats and sunscreen are highly recommended.  All attendees must have shoes on at all times due to the possibility of small metal parts on the tarmac areas.

General Admission Does Not Include Seating

The General Viewing area is on the East Ramp only. You can bring blankets or chairs. We highly recommend hats and sunscreen as it does get hot. Due to the afternoon winds and winds caused by some aircraft, we cannot have personal umbrellas in the General Viewing area. We have several seating options near the flight line for purchase. Visit our Premium Seating Page for more seating options.

Handicap Parking and Services

We do provide handicap parking to those with an official handicap sticker.  Let the parking cadets know, and they will direct you to the correct parking area. Unfortunately, we do not have rentals for wheelchairs.
