Patrick Warburton, American Actor and Voice Artist
We are very pleased to announce that the 2026 Wings Over Camarillo Grand Marshal will be acclaimed actor Patrick Warburton.
Patrick Warburton is an American actor and voice artist best known for his distinctive deep voice, deadpan delivery, and commanding screen presence. Born in Paterson, New Jersey, and raised in Southern California, Warburton has built a career spanning more than three decades in television, film, and animation.
He gained widespread recognition as David Puddy on Seinfeld, later starring as the title character in The Tick and as Jeff Bingham in Rules of Engagement. His unmistakable voice has brought to life beloved characters, including Kronk in Disney’s The Emperor’s New Groove, Joe Swanson on Family Guy, and Brock Samson on The Venture Bros. He has also appeared in numerous television series, films, and commercials, becoming one of Hollywood’s most recognizable character actors.
Beyond his entertainment career, Warburton and his wife, Cathy, have been active members of the Camarillo community since moving there in 2002. The family has attended the Wings Over Camarillo Air Show for many years, making it a cherished tradition that reflects their appreciation for aviation and strong sense of community pride.
Their connection to Camarillo Airport extends well beyond the annual air show. During a fundraising auction for Santa Rosa Technology Magnet School, held at the Commemorative Air Force Aviation and War Museum located at the airport, the Warburtons successfully bid on a flight lesson for their son, Shane, sparking 
an aviation journey that would shape his future. Shane later earned his pilot’s license at Channel Islands Aviation, became a certified flight instructor, and went on to fly for Aspen Air Charter Co., building a career filled with unique flying experiences.
The family’s ties to the airport continued as their son-in-law, Cole, attended the fire academy at Camarillo Airport. They have also supported the local community by adopting rescue dogs from the Camarillo Animal Shelter and have long enjoyed gathering at the Waypoint Café, a favorite family destination known as much for its welcoming atmosphere as its famous milkshakes.
Warburton is also committed to philanthropy through the annual Patrick Warburton Celebrity Golf Tournament, which has raised millions of dollars for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Whether on screen, behind the microphone, or supporting the community he calls home, Patrick Warburton continues to leave a lasting impression through his talent, generosity, and lifelong appreciation for aviation and the Camarillo community.
